The dream of winning your fantasy baseball championship is still alive.  Everyone must realize when managing your fantasy baseball team you need to pay attention to everything that is going on in your league on a daily basis.  Ask yourself  this one question, have you done everything possible to get your team in the position to make your fantasy baseball playoffs?  If the answer to this question is no, then we have a lot of work to do.

Lets get started.  The waiver wire right now is your best friend.  You can find some steals on the waiver wire.  A few pitchers that may be available and will add some value to your team are John Lannan, Pedro Martinez, Chad Gaudin, and Jason Schmidt.  All these pitchers are risk reward, but I think in the end these guys could be the difference of you making or not making the playoffs.  Pedro and Jason play on teams that win.  Washington although they stink,  play games against a water down national league and could put  up decent numbers in the second half which will benefit Lannan.  I am huge fan of Gaudin, but unfortunatly he plays on one of the worst offensive teams in baseball, the Padres.  Gaudin is a strike out machine when he is on his “A Game”.
